Calum Chambers signed a new two year deal at Arsenal on Wednesday.

The 22 year old defender spent last season out on loan with Middlesbrough to increase his game time, but having joined us from Southampton back in the summer of 2014 he now has 60 appearances to his name.

His time with us has also seen him called into the senior England squad, making his debut in a friendly against Norway in September 2014 before going on to help the Under 21 side lift the Toulon Tournament at the end of the 2015/16 season.

I’d imagine we’ll have reaction from the player later today, but the new deal does see him contracted up at the Emirates Stadium until the summer of 2021.
