Cesc Fabregas believes Arsenal’s ‘Champions Spirit’ will help them through a very chilly time in moscow tonight.

Arsenal face CSKA (don’t forget it kicks off at 5:30, some of us have to work) today and victory would almost certainy see us through to the knockout stages.

Fabregas thinks it will be hard going but Arsenal can prevail.

‘To play in Moscow is not easy because CSKA is a complicated team and we have several absences because of injury, but Arsenal possesses a champions’ sprit,’ Cesc told skysports.com.

‘One new thing will be the climate, I have a fear about playing with the snow but the winter is still not that hard in Russia.

‘If we did win in CSKA our passage to the next round will nearly be a reality and we could then look more at the Premier League.

‘I am optimistic and after the drought of last season we would win any title this year.

‘The season is long and anything is possible for us, but the victory at Old Trafford [against Manchester United] was the key moment.’

Well I’m off to work, and for the first time since the dawn of time I will miss an Arsenal match that has been on TV that I haven’t been able to get to see live.

Thank goodness for Radio Five Live.

I can barely contain myself.
