Cesc Fabregas has reittereated his intentions to remain a Gooner after much speculation has linked him with a return to Spain.
After successfully filling the void left by Patrick Vieira, Cesc Fabregas has caught the eye of almost every big club in the world, Cesc himself had not ruled out a return to Spain, but only after a long and distinguished career at the Arsenal.
In the week leading up to the Champions League final, Fabregas said,
‘I keep hearing all the talk and reading the stories here and in Spain, but I am not someone who gets distracted by rumours.’
‘I always leave these matters in the hands of the people I trust.’
‘The facts are that I am in London and I am very happy here. I owe alot to Arsenal and I never think about leaving.’
Calming words there from the young maestro, and having only just signed a new contract till 2011, Fabregas will become one of the best midfielders in the world.
