Juventus manager, Fabio Capello, thinks Arsenal already have an advantage over Juventus because we did not play this weekend.
Arsenal’s Premiership clash with Portsmouth was postponed this weekend due to a waterlogged pitch. The Gunners have not played any competitive football since the 3-0 victory over Charlton Saturday before last, and will have had a full ten days rest.
Capello thinks we will be much fresher.
‘I’m sorry about having had such a tough challenge ahead of the game with Arsenal, especially as they haven’t played,’ said Capello.
‘Arsenal have a slight advantage because we played and they didn’t, and because we played for half of the match with only ten men.’
An excuse ahead of time perhaps?
