Bring In Bale And Shock The World

Gareth Bale is one former Southampton man, yes I know he played for Spurs too, from a certain crop that slipped the net but with Chelsea and Man United ‘going for him’ Arsenal need to too.

John Hartson had previously said that we should do all we can to bring in Petr Cech from Chelsea, this could be a move hat is possible in the summer but another, probably less likely for various reasons, that he’s told TalkSport he feels we should make is a move for Bale if Madrid decide that he’s ‘surplus to requirement’ at the Bernabeu.

An audacious bid for the Welshman is something that his countryman feels we should go for as it would ‘shock the world’ if we did something that he knows Chelsea and Man United would do but he’s not sure we would….

‘He’s out there but are Arsenal the type of club to go and shock the world and go in for Gareth Bale? I don’t know.

‘The thing is, if he becomes available, you know Chelsea are going to go in for him and you know Manchester United are going to go in for him. You know that already. Chelsea have got the money and the ambition and Manchester United are showing their ambition right now.

‘For Arsenal to go and compete and appease the supporters and to stop them moaning, they’ve got to go and make a stand and go in for Bale because you know Chelsea and Manchester United will if he becomes available.’

Bale’s spell in Spain hasn’t exactly gone as his world record transfer fee would have hoped it would although to be fair he’s not done bad as he but a Premier League return could be on this summer but are we likely to bid some £85m or so for him though to bring him back from La Liga?
