Cap’n Bill of the Grove has revealed he’s been a right ol’ miserable so-and-so at times, while he’s been out crocked.

And, shock horror, he’s apologised to the Arsenal players and staff for walking around with a face like a slapped arse on occasions, and said he can appreciate he’s not been the best person to be around. The Daily Mail quote the French Centreback as saying

Sometimes I have been okay, but other times I have been very unhappy.

Because of that I know it might have been difficult for the rest of the group because I wasn’t always smiling when I was in the dressing room.

I have experienced it before. The first week or so you can deal with it, but three, four, five weeks later? It’s hard to keep smiling. So I want to say sorry to all the players and all the staff.

Bill’s back in full training, and apparently fit to join up with the French squad for international duty. Can’t you follow Robin’s lead, William old chap, and stay at home with a packet of biscuits and a mug of horlicks? Go on, you know you want to…
