Bendtner Will Come Home

Young Danish striker, Nicklas Bendtner will return to Arsenal at the end of the season and be given the chance to fight for a first team spot.

Wenger revealed he has already spoken to Bendtner about his current situation and he is more than happy about being a Gooner.

‘He will come back and challenge for a first team place next season,” said Wenger.

“I’ve spoken to him about that. He is 18, strong and has a big future. He knows we want him back and he’s happy about that.’

‘There is a lot of competition, a lot of good young players but if they are good enough then they will come through.’

Bendtner ruffled a few feathers early in the season with a few silly ‘I want’ or ‘I am’ comments which didn’t go down to well, but now the highly rated player is making all the right noises after telling of his desire to fight for a spot amongst a team of first class players.
