Alexis Sanchez’s future with Arsenal continues to dominate most days’ rumour column inches, according to the Daily Mirror in the past 24 hours or so talks have opened with Bayern Munich?

Bayern, often the curse of Arsenal in the Champions League, as they were this season, have held talks with Alexis in a bid to lure him to the Bundesliga at the end of the season.

No figures were mentioned but it was claimed his agent Fernando Felicevich has held initial talks with the German champions, who currently include Alexis’ international teammate Arturo Vidal in their side, also represented by Felicevich.

Arsene Wenger, amidst ongoing speculation linking the Chilean with the likes of Chelsea and Manchester City, is defiant Alexis WILL stay at Arsenal next season even if an extended deal isn’t signed with the Gunners – who wouldn’t sell to a fellow English club regardless.

Well, offloading Alexis, 28, to Bayern would negotiate that one wouldn’t it? Whatever the stance is with the forward facts of the matter are if he doesn’t sign a new contract at Arsenal the club can’t run the risk of losing him on a free in 12 months time, can we?
