Tis the season for everyone to get up in arms about transfers, there`s something about January that makes everyone go a little bit cuckoo (yours truly included).

With Arsenal doing so well in the league despite the number of long term injuries we have suffered to key players, many people are looking for the manager to strengthen this transfer window. He`s already stated that he will be, and has been busy, however those looking for him to bring in a whole host of players might be a little disappointed (not to mention naive, when has Wenger ever done that?)

With a few of the absentees not far off returning Wenger is looking to bring in maybe one more player (presumably a defensive midfielder) to shore up the ranks.

“I believe that the next step is to get Rosicky back, Welbeck back, Sanchez back, Wilshere back and maybe we will get one player in. Overall, I think we have no new injuries so I`m not worried. If we had the same number of injuries we would be a bit short.”

Is one player enough? Let us know in the comments below.
