It`s never nice to lose a game, but when that game is a home match ?. Against Chelsea ?. By virtue of two absolute gifts of goals to The Blues that makes it a little more painful than usual.

However Arsenal gaffer, Arsene Wenger is confident his squad will bounce back from our first league defeat of the season.

Speaking with the club`s official website Le Boss said “The players are very frustrated. They have a great attitude, they are very disappointed,”

“I can understand that. But I think we will recover from it. It can happen in the season, but they are disappointed because they lost a game they should not have lost.”

The nature of the goals was also not lost on the Frenchman, he knows full well a title challenging team can not gift goals away in such a manner to any team, let alone a team we should be considering rivals.

“I thought we were a bit passive on both goals, and we have to be active. You do not play many times away from home and score from two set pieces the way they did today – that is for sure,” he said.

“We played against a good side but they had three shots on goal and the two goals they scored, with my best will I cannot say they were fantastic goals. They are goals you have to stop.”
