Two weeks to go until our pre-season games start and still no signings of note.

As Man Utd refuse to rest on their laurels they`ve gone out and sorted their new players early as they attempt to build on yet another title winning season whilst the Gunners seem content with doing absolutely f**k all.

Of course it probably isn`t that way, it just feels like it, no doubt Gazidis is running round like Jerry Maguire trying to snaffle a few deals. It`s just it feels like we`re waiting too long you know, we`ve been here before, pissing about trying to save a few quid only to lose out on players Wenger clearly thought would improve our chances of winning silverware because of his stubborn philosophy.

Wenger, for me, is still the man for the job, nobody could run our club like he can, but he`s playing a risky game by not getting (as an old friend of mine likes to say) “all his sh*t in one sock” as quickly as possible.

Our start to the season is compiled of matches against Newcastle (We all know we can`t take that game lightly), Man Utd and Liverpool along with 2 Champions League qualifiers that we now have to play thanks to our pathetic end of season effort.

If the season starts badly without getting our players sorted out before the close of the transfer window, then that air of discontent that may have been diluted somewhat by a summer of beer and bar-b-ques, will be back in force, and I fear for what may happen if the majority of fans turn on Le Boss.
