Arsenal academy prospect Marcus McGuane has agreed a deal with Barcelona.
The 18 year old midfielder joined us at Under 6 age level and has since become a mainstay in our Under 23 side. He also has two senior appearances under his belt for Arsene Wenger with him selected and featuring in away wins over Red Star Belgrade and BATE Borisov earlier this season.
He was out of contract this summer and he reportedly turned down an offer, so Arsenal have accepted an undisclosed sum for his services.
It’s expected he will play in their B team and in signing a three year deal, they reportedly have a £21.9million buy out clause in the contract.
