Arsenal v Man Utd = War

This will be the first in a series of video’s in the lead up to the massive clash between Arsenal and Man Utd at Ashburton Grove on Sunday.

As per Goonerholics latest article, Arsenal v Man Utd has been the biggest fixture in Premier League football of over the last ten years and is always a passionate affair, but as this video shows, there has been a history of ‘war’ for a little longer than that.

Arsenal were famously deducted 2 points in the 90/91 season after a brawl in the clash at Old Trafford, yet Arsenal went on to win the league, singing ‘You can stick yer 2 points up yer arse’.

Over 12 years later a second incident occured after Paddy Vieira ‘kicked’ Ruud van Horseface and was sent off. Then, in the dying embers of the match, United ‘won’ a penalty, and we all know what happened next.

For the younger Gooners who read this site eagerly waiting to see what happened (as in the 90/91 incident)……lets move right along to the action.

Now I’m not condoning football violence on or off the pitch, but it certainly adds a little spice to an already firey fixture.
