Arsenal midfielder Tomas Rosicky has been enjoying a fine run of form in recent matches, and now he`s enjoying a new contract with Arsenal Football Club.

Rosicky has had many injury problems since joining Arsenal and in turn that has hampered his form, but a sustained run in the side over the last few weeks have shown us just what a fine footballer he is, and now the Czech Republic captain has been rewarded with a new deal.

Speaking with the official club website the Little Mozart expressed his delight.

It’s a great honour to sign a new deal with Arsenal, I love the Club and am proud to wear the Arsenal shirt. It’s felt like home since I arrived six years ago and I couldn’t be happier to commit my future to the team. Said Rosicky

‘The manager, my team-mates, the staff and the supporters – everyone plays their part in making this a great Club, and I feel privileged to be a part of it. I believe we have a really talented group of players and, together with the manager, the future looks bright. It’s always been my goal to win trophies here at Arsenal, and I will fight hard to achieve my dreams here.’

It wasn`t that long ago Gooners would have been forgiven for thinking it might be time to cash in what chips we have left and move on, but Tomas has worked hard and is now one of the vital cogs in the machine that has seen us move to within a potential point of Tottenham, whose best team in 50 years is starting to show its cracks.
