Rumoured Arsenal target Arda Turan can leave Barcelona, reports Marca.

Having been told by Barcelona he’s free to leave the Nou Camp, Arsenal will now compete with Inter Milan for ex-Atletico Madrid midfielder Turan – in fact the Gunners having reportedly ‘lodged’ a £26.3m bid already.

Despite informing the Turkish international he can leave, with him looking for a more regular first team spot than afford at the Catalan giants, having been limited to 18 La Liga appearances for Barca last season, as Turan still has three years on his current deal he’ll not come cheap.

Interest from Arsenal has rumbled on all summer but news of his availability should be a boost to the Gunners’ hopes of bringing Turan, 30, to the Premier League following two mixed years at Barcelona, coming after four successful ones at Atletico for the experienced ex-Galatasaray attacking midfielder.
