Just when Arsene Wenger thought he might get all his players back from International duty fully fit, Robin Van Persie suffers a knee injury.

Van Persie was substituted after 60 minutes in Holland’s game against Slovenia when he fell awkwardly after a strong challenge.

Arsenal fans will be hoping he can recover for Arsenal’s crunch period starting this weekend when they face Bolton. A week later the Gunners play Liverpool before Manchester United visit Ashburton Grove.

If Van Persie is out for some time, it’ll be a chance for new-boy Eduardo Da Silva to show us some of the lethal finishing he’s displayed for his adopted nation.
