* The Cup winner of the association ranked 13th in the 2017/18 list gets an automatic group entry owing to Manchester United winning the Europa League last season and gaining entry into the Champions League.

For legal speak, that list is tagged by as being ‘provisional and subject to pending legal proceedings and final confirmation from UEFA.’

The full list of sides through for this year’s competition will soon be known as the qualifiers play themselves out and then we see who we draw from the 22 that progress and the 10 that slip down from the Champions League.

The group stage draw is set for August 25.
