Arsenal have drawn Besiktas in the qualifying rounds of the Champions League.

After topping the table for most of last season, Arsenal ultimately found themselves finishing in 4th place and in need of going through the qualifying round to gain entry to the Champions League proper this season.

The draw for the qualifiers has been made and the Gunners have been paired with Turkish side Besiktas.

Besiktas finished 3rd in their domestic league last season and whilst the team shouldn`t pose “much” of a threat to Arsenal their defence was pretty stout at home and a trip to Turkey is an unenviable task for the boys.

They definitely need to take this one seriously.
