Mario Balotelli is looking to get his career back on track in French football at Nice. In fairness he’s not doing too bad as he’s scored six goals in as many games for the side currently ahead of Monaco and Paris Saint Germain at the top of Ligue 1.

The troubled Italian previously enjoyed a relatively success spell with Manchester City but his most recently stint in the Premier League saw him have a miserable time on Merseyside at Liverpool.

His experience at Anfield hasn’t put him off potentially making a return to England in the future. However, he said he would ‘never’ consider a return to Liverpool.

The Metro has quoted him as telling Chinese publication Xinhua.

‘[If go back to England] for sure not Liverpool. Because I find myself very bad in Liverpool. I said the team was good and the fans are amazing, but I would never go back to Liverpool.’

Balotelli hasn’t issued a come and get me plea or anything but has stated he ‘likes’ Arsenal with the Gunners his second team behind Man City.

‘The first one I think in England is Manchester City, and the second team I always like is Arsenal. That doesn’t mean I will go to play there – I just like them.’

Balotelli comes with a lot of baggage doesn’t he and even if he got back to his very best form I couldn’t see him coming to Arsenal anytime soon, could you?
