Benik Afobe looks to be on his way out of Arsenal permanently with a fee agreed with Wolves for him to join them.

19-goals in 30-appearances during the first half of the season, on what was meant to be a season-long loan, has seen him linked with a couple of Championship clubs but it’s Wolves that have agreed a reported £2m fee to sign the 21-year-old.

This striker departure wouldn’t be one that so many would be disappointed, or surprised by would it?

Incoming we continue to be linked with West Ham defender Winston Reid but Sam Allardyce, even though he risks losing him on a free in the summer, insists that he doesn’t want to lose him as ‘there’s no choice, he stays – that’s it.’ Should a ‘big offer’ come in then perhaps those views will change….

Moussa Sissoko, meanwhile, continues to put himself forward for a move to the Grove.

One more he’s said that he’s ‘focused on Newcastle’ telling French TV show Telefoot as much but also said that ‘if Arsene Wenger calls, I’ll have a man-to-man discussion with him and then we’ll see. Arsenal has always been the club of my heart.’

Will we take him up on his offer?
