Arsenal will have Emmanuel Adebayor missing for this week’s trip to Rome to take on Roma in the first knockout stage of the Champions League.

Adebayor has been missing from action since injuring his hamstring in the 0-0 draw with Tottenham earlier this year, but it had been hoped the leggy Togan would be ready for action, but sadly he didn’t make it.

”Adebayor definitely won’t be able to play, but I will wait to see what the report is on Kolo before I decide what my starting XI will be.’ Confirmed Wenger

Our beloved football club has been awash with injuries for as long as I can remember now, but, touch wood, we have lots of key players coming back to action at a vital part of the season.

It does appear there is light at the end of the tunnel.
