Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has revealed there is a 90% chance of Manu Adebayor playing in this weekend’s clash against West Ham.

The Togolese centre forward has been out of action since coming off in the early minutes of the Carling Cup victory over West Brom.

‘I would rate his chances at about 90 percent, but Emmanuel Eboue and Freddie Ljungberg will still be short,’ said Wenger.

‘Those three are the closest to coming back – but the only one likely to join in is Adebayor.’

I feel Adebayor can be a key player for Arsenal this season, scoring those oh so vital scruffy goals. Indeed he could have had a hatfull at the Grove last night.

  • what about baptista ? i would put him above Adebayor, and no news on him ? someone said he isn’t match fit yet, but surely you got to be playing to get match fit in my book. Everytime i seen Adebayor he has failed to impress me, he reminds me much like kanu although a botu quicker and more movement but i still feel he has that lazy factor. i personally like the hustle and bustle of rosicky, we should have more like him.

  • I think he should be fit again by then, he was supossed to be out for the same length of time as Eboue who is due back in a week or two!

  • thank god for that, after galla i saw him as the next best signing, but rosicky is fast changing my mind, that boy is gonna be an arsenal legend

  • Rosicky has been class since he stepped on the pitch aged 19, for the Czech Republic in Euro 2000. Has done nothing since to change that opinion. You’re a bunch of lucky b******s to have him

  • I would choose the beast baptista over adebayor anyday, why doesnt anyone else feel the same way as me ………??
