Adebayor: I Want To Be New The Kanu

Emmanuel Adebayor has expressed his desire to do well at Arsenal, and wants to emulate his ‘hero’ Kanu.

After joining Arsenal on Friday afternoon, ‘Manu’ has wasted no time in speaking to the English red tops.

‘I am so happy to be joining Arsenal,’ Adebayor told The News of the World.

‘I am confident I will establish myself in the team and follow in the footsteps of my idol Kanu.

‘He’s a player who has left his mark on me and I hope very much to be the new Kanu for Arsenal.’
