Over almost every international break content on the Vital Network declines as proper meaningful football information gives way to boring old meaningless international football. The news dries up and people who are only fans of club football take a break from the game.

However the content on Vital did not so much dry up but cease to exist, and for that I need to apologise.

Over the past few weeks I have been preparing for the birth of my second son and last weekend my partner went into labour. After minor complications my youngest arrived on Tuesday morning and since I have been backwards and forwards to the hospital.

I did have a contingency plan in place for getting content on the site, however in the panic/excitement/shock I failed to implement it leaving Vital Arsenal gathering cobwebs.

However with the regular season back this weekend and my son home from the hospital safe and sound we can get this show back on the road ….. and hopefully Arsenal can do the same against Watford today (followed by a helping hand from Liverpool …. pleeaassee).

So once again, please accept my sincere apologies.
