Arsenal looking to imploy this policy moving forward following mass success

|

Arsenal will increasingly lean on their production of youth players after the successes of this season, according to The Independent.

Miguel Azeez is seen as the next product expected to make his way into the first-team, however, that won’t happen until later in the season.

The likes of Bukayo Saka, Eddie Nketiah and Emile Smith Rowe have all made their way into the senior squad reckoning over the course of the last two campaigns.

Should the club allow Chambers to leave the club this month?

Yes

No

Having seen their respective successes, it seems that Arsenal’s best bet in rebuilding the club is via their Hale End academy. There are a number of gems which have transformed the club and their poor run of form this season.

Saka and Smith Rowe have performed well across the last three Premier League games in what has been Arsenal’s longest winning run of the season. The England international has scored two goals and registered one assist, meanwhile, the Croydon-born youngster has set-up two goals.

What more can be said about Eddie Nketiah and his predatory finishing? The England under-21 international is the club’s second top scorer across all competitions despite having played just over 1000 minutes.

Ainsley Maitland-Niles is also one player impressing this campaign, having broken into the England senior squad for his performances under Mikel Arteta.

To add fuel to the fire, the senior players have been nothing short of abysmal this year. From Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to Willian and Nicolas Pepe, there seems to be no hunger or desire to perform well from the experienced stars.

Turning to youngsters is a bold strategy, but, as we’ve seen in recent outings, it proves to be a pretty successful one. Arteta needs to trust the youth and give them more minutes as it seems the seniors have given up.

In other news, David Ornstein has provided an update on Houssem Aouar’s potential move to the club.
